Pick up by a guide from our team of Travelers for Morocco, at 8 in the morning from your Riad/Hotel or the Airport, to start our 4-day Route from Marrakech to the desert, heading South, crossing the High Mountains of the HIGH ATLAS and passing through the Tizin tichka mountain pass at 2,260 m altitude and which is the main highest mountain pass in North Africa.
We will visit Ouarzazate or also well known as The Gate of the Desert and where the most important film studios in Morocco called Atlas Studios are located. We will continue our Tour through the beautiful Valley of the Roses where its inhabitants cultivate small plots of the botanical species Rosa damascena, and which are a great source of income and importance for its population, once the roses are dry they are used to make essences. Our next stop will be the Dades Gorges where we will spend the night.
After a good breakfast, we continue our 4-day Tour, today we will go to the Merzouga desert, but before we will visit the Todra Palm Grove, very dense and leafy, it is formed by a massive extension of palm trees, our trip continues until we reach the Gorges From Todra, after the view of the garnatas, we leave for Erfoud (city of fossils) and characterized by its typical and traditional houses of the area where the Berber peoples live.
We will arrive in Merzouga where we will leave the car and the camels will be waiting for us to cross the great dunes of the desert for about two hours, we will make a stop to see from a dune how the sun hides, letting in the night. We will spend the night in the heart of the desert in nomadic tents or also called haimas and enjoying the stars, the moon, the peace and harmony that the desert offers us. Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
We will get up very early to be able to contemplate another great show that the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara offer us: the sunrise, after breakfast we return with the camels to our car and from there.
Our 4-day route continues to Rissani where we will make a stop to visit the market, where there is a special parking lot to leave the donkeys with which the locals transport their products such as handicrafts, food, animals, etc. to sell them in the market, which amazes all travelers and tourists who pass through this city. Our route continues towards Ouarzazate, you will be able to contemplate the beautiful pictures that the Draa Valley offers us with its thousands and thousands of palm trees. Dinner and overnight at the Riad / Hotel.
After a good breakfast, we start the last day of our 4 days marrakech desert marrakech route. We take the road to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou to see the kasbah where many movies have been filmed, such as Laurence of Arabia, Gladiator and Game of Thrones and many more… Free time to walk around and get to know the famous kasbah. After the walk we travel to Marrakech passing through another path of the Berber villages we pass through teluat a path full of different landscapes until we arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
