Picked up by a guide from our team of Travelers for Morocco, at 8 in the morning at your Riad/Hotel to start our 2-day Tour to the Zagora desert, a very interesting day full of culture awaits us, we will go towards Ouarzazate crossing the pass of Tizi’n Tichka mountain at 2,260 meters of altitude, which connects Marrakech with the city of Ouarzazate through the High Atlas and which is the main highest mountain pass in North Africa.
The first stop will be at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (World Heritage) and well known for the filming of many famous movies such as: Gladiator, Ubilex etc…, our route will continue towards the Draa Valley (the largest in Morocco) , as the route passes we can enjoy the thousands of kasbahs that there are during the journey.
In mid-afternoon we will arrive at the gate of the Zagora desert, where we will leave the car and the dromedaries will wait for us to take us through the desert to spend the night in haimas in the middle of nowhere, there we will have dinner and sleep but before sleeping we can enjoy the tranquility and the blanket of stars that the desert offers us.
We will get up early to be able to contemplate the beautiful sunrise that the desert offers us and a typical Moroccan breakfast. Our 2 day tour to the desert of zagora, continues. We will continue our route through the Draa Valley and the Oasis of Tamnougalt, arriving at the town of Agdz (famous for its kasbah), we will continue our route arriving late in the afternoon in Marrakech where we will leave you at your Riad / Hotel. and end of our, Excursion 2 Days to the desert of Zagora from Marrakech.
