Day 1 : Marrakech – High Atlas – Dades Gorges :

Pick up by a guide of our team Travelers in Morocco, in your Riad or Airport, to start our 4 days excursion from Marrakech to Fez via the desert, Departure from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. On the way we will cross the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the port of Tizi n’Tichka, making our way through numerous Berber nomadic villages that inhabit the area. We will continue via Ouarzazate crossing the valley of Roses, to enter the Dades Gorges, where the so-called “route of the thousand kasbahs” begins. Overnight in Dades valley and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga :

Breakfast at the hotel. We head to the Todra Gorges, where you can take a pleasant walk between its imposing canyon walls of more than 200 meters high, until the exit to the desert through the palm grove of Tafilalet. Arrival at the hotel at the foot of the dunes, where you can walk on the fine sand of Erg Chebbi, relax and enjoy this breathtaking scenery. In the evening, you will taste a delicious Moroccan dish. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Drive around the Erg Chebbi – Merzouga :

After a hearty Moroccan breakfast, we will get into the 4×4 to start our tour around the Erg Chebbi dunes, a region of the desert populated by sand: Among the numerous stops that await us, we will discover how and where the nomadic families of the area live, wild oasis in the middle of nowhere, spectacular landscapes and small desert villages, palm groves … Inevitable stop on our way through the village of Khamelia, of people originally from Mali, who will make us enjoy a nice concert of Gnawa music, while we savor a delicious tea. On the way back to the hotel, our camels will be waiting for us to set off on a route of an hour and a half, making our way through the dunes, until we reach the heart of the desert to contemplate the beautiful sunset. Tucked by the Great Dune, and enjoying the music of the drums, dinner and Moroccan tea, you will be able to contemplate the immense sky of stars and sleep in nomadic tents.

Day 4 : Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Fez :

In the morning we wake up early to see the sunrise and have breakfast and departure to the vast palm grove of Tafilalet passing through the city of Rissani (the Alaouite dynasty and the capital of the ancient Alaouite sultans). Then we take the road to Fez passing through the beautiful valley of Ziz, Errachidia, Midelt to the cedar forest where we stop to visit the famous cedar of “Gouraud”. We will continue our way through the middle Atlas to reach Fez in the afternoon, the intellectual and historical capital of Morocco, divided into 3 parts: Fez el bali (the old town), the new part built during the French protectorate and the Jewish quarter. Fez has a beautiful medina with its impressive gates and ramparts, palaces…etc. and end of our 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fez via the desert.
