After breakfast we will explore the desert region and the amazing desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes, where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad’s way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit the “black village” of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch at the Berber family camp. After this you will have the opportunity to visit the black volcanic rock sites. Continuing, we will reach the panoramic view of the dunes and visit the lake. We will visit the lake of Merzouga only if there is water in it and you will be impressed by the landscape of the dunes as well as the nearby lake (spring). Then we will return to Merzouga.
HOW TO FIND US IN MERZOUGA ?
Information – If you have your own car we will meet you at our lodge in the center of Merzouga, where you will have your room to leave your luggage that you are not taking to the desert and to shower when you return – if you come by bus or other transport we will be waiting for you at the station in the center of Merzouga and we will accompany you to our lodge.
Bus time information: From Fez : There is daily overnight, leaves Fez around 20:00 pm and arrives in Merzouga around 5:00 am. the bus called (Supratours)
From Marrakech: There is a daily bus leaving Marrakech at 08:00 in the morning and arriving in Merzouga at 20:00 in the evening (Supratours).
