Day 1: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – The Valley of Roses – The Dades Gorges:

Pick up by a guide of our team Travelers in Morocco, at 8 am in the morning at your Riad / Hotel or Airport, to start the 3 days tour to the desert of Merzouga from Marrakech, leaving southbound, crossing the high mountains of the HIGH ATLAS and passing through the mountain pass Tizin tichka at 2,260 m altitude and which is the main mountain pass highest in North Africa. We will visit Ouarzazate or also well known as the Gateway to the Desert and where the most important film studios in Morocco called Atlas Studios are located, We will continue our route to reach the Kasbah Ait ben Haddou (World Heritage Site) and well known for the filming of many famous movies like: Gladiator, Ubilex etc … We will continue our journey through the beautiful Valley of Roses where its inhabitants cultivate small plots of the botanical species Rosa damascena, and which are a great source of income and importance for its population, once dried roses are used to make essences. Our next stop will be the Dades Gorges where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga :

After a good breakfast today we will head towards the desert of Merzouga, but first we will visit the Todra palm grove very dense and lush, is formed by a multitudinous extension of palm trees, our journey continues until we reach the Todra Gorges, then we leave towards Erfoud (city of fossils) and characterized by its typical and traditional houses of the area where the Berber villages inhabit. We will arrive in Merzouga where we will leave the car and the camels will be waiting for us to cross the great dunes of the desert for an hour, we will stop to watch from a dune as the sun goes down and let the night come in. We will spend the night in the heart of the desert in nomad tents or also called haimas and enjoying the stars, the moon, the peace and harmony that the desert offers us. Dinner and overnight in haimas (an unforgettable night).

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – High Atlas – Marrakech

Today we will have to wake up very early to see the sunrise over the dunes, an image that you will never forget, and after breakfast we will leave towards the Palmeral of Tafilalet, but first we will cross the city of Rissani (the Alaouite dynasty and the capital of the ancient Alaouite sultans), our route continues to Alfin (small town characterized by its desert environment), the oasis of Tazarine and Nkob and arrive in Ouarzazate through the unbeatable Draa Valley and passing through the Berber village of Agdz and the port of Ait Saoun (1.660 meters of altitude) with unbeatable views, we will arrive to Marrakech in the afternoon where we will transfer you to your Riad / Hotel and end of our 3 days tour to the desert of Merzouga from Marrakech.
