Day 1: Tangier – Asilah :
Pick up in Tangier upon arrival, and part of the morning free to explore the city, known as “the gateway to Africa”, one of the most vibrant, mysterious and interesting cities in Morocco. According to legend, this is where the mythical figure of Hercules rested after performing his 12 tasks. The entrance to the cave faces the Atlantic, and is flooded during high tides. The views inside the cave are an experience. Arrival in Asilah, small coastal town, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in northern Morocco, with its small medina characterized by blue houses and walls decorated with colorful drawings. Day 2: Asilah – Rabat :
After breakfast we leave in the morning in the direction of Rabat. Arrival in Rabat: known as the City of Gardens. It is the administrative capital of Morocco. It is both a modern and traditional city, a dynamic mix of ancient and modern culture. Surrounded by colorful hillsides and mountains. The city itself is elegant, with its harmonious gardens, its luxury stores, its stores and flowers. Free time to visit the city. Accommodation in hotel.
Day 3: Rabat – Casablanca :
We continue our tour on the shores of the Atlantic, to Casablanca, the economic capital of the country. You will have the whole day to know the great city of Morocco, and the famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the highest temples in the world and one of the few that allows the visit to non-Muslim tourists. Day 4: Casablanca – Essaouira :
We continue along the Atlantic, enjoying a beautiful coastal landscape to the city of Essaouira. Accommodation in hotel and free time to explore the city: World Heritage Site, it maintains the charm and authenticity of a land lost in time. This is where the Mediterranean ends: the last walled fortification on the Atlantic shores. The bay of Essaouira, bathed by the waves of the islands of Mogador, is a paradise for wind sports enthusiasts.
Day 5: Essaouira – Marrakech :
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for a last walk in the medina of Essaouira before departure to Marrakech. Arrival in Marrakech, transfer to your riad. Free day to get acquainted with the place.
Day 6: Marrakech – Marrakech :
Free day to continue describing the many corners that make up the city: One of the 4 imperial cities of Morocco. Famous for its numerous monuments recognized as World Heritage, and its famous Jemaa el Fna square. You can walk through its different and characteristic neighborhoods, the modern city: Guéliz, Hivernage, Palmeraie, Mellah (the Jewish quarter) … or let yourself go through the winding streets of the Medina, to the Jmaa el Fna square, the scene of a host of outdoor activities: jugglers, musicians, fakirs, snake charmers, minstrels … that will awaken all your senses, with its many sounds, aromas, flavors and colors that characterize it. Day 7: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech :
The famous waterfalls of Ouzoud, 110 meters high, are located in the High Atlas, in the province of Azilal. They are the most beautiful in Morocco and North Africa. They are surrounded by idyllic landscapes painted in many different colors. In the afternoon, you can contemplate the monkeys that inhabit the area, playing among them, and trying to steal something to eat from the tourists.
Day 8: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades :
After breakfast we will leave towards Ait Benhaddou, on the way we will cross the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the port of Tizi n’Tichka, making our way through numerous Berber nomad villages that inhabit the area. Spectacular scenery that will take us to the Kasbah of Telouet, one of the best preserved so far. Time to visit the kasbah until the exit, through the track, which leads us to another of the best preserved and most famous kasbahs in Morocco, the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, famous for being the scene of more than twenty films, such as “Babel”. We will continue via Ouarzazate crossing the valley of Roses, to enter the Dades Gorges, where the so-called “route of the thousand kasbahs” begins. Overnight in Dades valley and dinner at the hotel.
Day 9: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga :
Breakfast at the hotel. We head to the Todra Gorges, where you can take a pleasant walk between its imposing canyon walls of more than 200 meters high, until the exit to the desert through the palm grove of Tafilalet. Arrival at the hotel at the foot of the dunes, where you can walk on the fine sand of Erg Chebbi, relax and enjoy this breathtaking scenery. In the evening, you will taste a delicious Moroccan dish. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Merzouga – Drive around the Erg Chebbi – Merzouga:
After a hearty Moroccan breakfast, we will get into the 4×4 to start our tour around the Erg Chebbi dunes, a region of the desert populated by sand: Among the numerous stops that await you, we will discover how and where the nomadic families of the area live, wild oasis in the middle of nowhere, spectacular landscapes and small desert villages, palm groves … Inevitable stop on our way through the village of Khamelia, of people originally from Mali, who will make us enjoy a nice concert of Gnawa music, while we savor a delicious tea. On the way back to the hotel, our camels will be waiting for us to set off on a route of an hour and a half, making our way through the dunes, until we reach the heart of the desert to contemplate the beautiful sunset. Tucked by the Great Dune, and enjoying the music of the drums, dinner and Moroccan tea, you can contemplate the immense sky of stars and sleep in nomadic tents.
Day 11: Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt :
We will wake up early in the morning, to be able to contemplate another great spectacle among the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara: the spectacular sunrise. You will get back on your dromedaries to take another route back to the hotel. Breakfast and shower, and we continue our way to Rissani. Where we will stroll through what is known as the most authentic and traditional souk of Morocco, and the largest in the south of the country, where all kinds of handicrafts, food and animals are traded. We continue via Erfud, the ancient gateway to the desert, a city famous for its fossil work, crossing the impressive Ziz Valley, with its more than 18,000 palm trees, until we reach Midelt. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 12: Midelt – Meknes – Fez :
Breakfast and departure to the city of Meknes, where we will visit the famous Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then continue our way to Fez and spend the rest of the day exploring the city.
Day 13: Fez – Fez :
Full free day to visit Fez: Another of the 4 imperial cities. In Morocco it is considered the religious and cultural center of the country. Its university, famous for the study of Arabic and the Muslim religion, is a point of passage of many Moroccan students. You will have time to walk around and get to know its different neighborhoods, the new area or Fès el-Jdid, where you will find the Mellah (the Jewish quarter), the Ville Nouvelle (New Town) French area in the northwest of the city and of course, Fez el-Bali, the old area, inside the walls. You can stroll through its streets and feel how it transports you to past worlds in which potters, smiths, craftsmen and donkeys loaded with goods from various origins coexist with tourists who pass through its labyrinthine streets. Also famous for the souk of the tanners, you can be part of the craft process of medieval roots by which they get those bright colors to the leather. Accommodation in riad.
Day 14: Fez – Chefchaouen :
Early morning departure to Chefchaouen Charming little town located on the slopes of the Tisouka and Megou mountains of the Rif Mountains, which rise above the town like two horns, thus giving its name to the city (Chefchaouen in Berber means: “look at the horns”) City with very little car traffic, where you breathe a clean and fresh air that invites you to stay and discover the beauty of the place and its surroundings.
Day 15: Chefchaouen – Tangier :
Departure to Tangier and transfer to the port Farewell and end of our services.
