trip which departs from Marrakech to Fez through the Sahara desert (Erg Chebbi). We will visit the most amazing part of the Moroccan desert and we will be able to contemplate the contrasts of the different landscapes of the country. We will cross roads, valleys, passes, gorges, dunes and villages with history and different fortresses as the World Heritage of the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, also includes camel ride that leads to the tents that are in the middle of the dunes where we will spend the night. There we will enjoy a great experience: sunset, live music, the immensity of the stars…

DAY 1: MARRAKECH AIT BEN HADDOU – VALLEY OF ROSES – DADES GORGES

Pick up by a guide from our Morocco Travelers team, at 8 am, to start the 3 days tour from Marrakech to fez, departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, through the Atlas Mountains (we will make small stops on the way to get closer to the beautiful landscapes and authentic Berber villages). The first stop will be the visit of the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a 16th century fortress classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and many great movies were made there too (Gladiator, Laurence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven Sahara Babel…). Then we continue to Ouarzazate (lunch). Then we will go to the Dades Valley and the Valley of the Roses, with a stop to see the locally made cosmetics, through the fascinating palm grove of Skoura, where numerous ancient kasbahs stand out, among the palm trees. Dinner and overnight in the Dades Gorges.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we continue to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, where we will have time to walk inside the gorge. We will drive through the Ziz Valley, and the town of Erfoud to reach Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). After a cup of mint tea, we will ride camels for about 1 hour to enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset over the great sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. After a delicious dinner, you will have the opportunity to attend a traditional Berber music show while watching the stars and the crescent moon over the stunning Sahara desert. Overnight in a traditional nomad tent.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – ZIZ VALLEY – MIDELT – IFRANE – FEZ

Before sunrise, we will wake you up to climb the dunes and find the sun rising above the horizon. After breakfast we will start the camel ride and on the way we will pause to enjoy the view of the sunrise. After breakfast, before continuing our journey to Fez. We leave Merzouga passing through: Arfoud, Errachidia, Ziz Valley, Medilt where we will stop for lunch, and continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, where we can see and take pictures with the monkeys that live there. Then we will cross Ifrane to continue to Fez. We will arrive at your Riad / hotel in Fez and it will be the end of our tour, 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fez.
