This 7 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert offers a fascinating experience, with exploration in Marrakech, Dades Gorges, sunset in Erg Chebbi, and sunrise in the desert. Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech:
Pick up from the airport by a guide of our Morocco Travelers team and transfer to the hotel with the possibility to have a first contact in the famous Jamaà el Fena square. accommodation with breakfast.
Day 2: Visit Marrakech.
After breakfast a free day to visit Marrakech, the pearl of southern Morocco. You will visit the Bay and El Badi Palaces, the Saadian Tombs, the Menara reservoir and many other hidden treasures. Lunch at one of the best traditional restaurants in Marrakech. Then tour to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el Fna market square, well worth a visit, being one of the main attractions of Marrakech, full of life at night with local storytellers, snake charmers and… mouth-watering barbecues.
Day 3 :Marrakeh Dades Gorges :
After breakfast we will board Marrakech Dades gorges.on the way we will cross the High Atlas, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka, threading our way between many villages of nomadic Berbers who inhabit the area.a spectacular landscape that will take us Ouarzazate where we can stop for lunch then we continue our way to the Valley of the roses to cross, to reach the Dades gorges, where begins the “route of the Thousand Kasbahs”.dades Valley Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: DADES – TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA.
In the morning we will cross the DADES Valley, making panoramic stops to take pictures, then we will pass by the famous TODRA GORGES. We will take a quiet tea and follow the road to ERFOUD. Here we will take a detour to the dunes of ERG CHEBBI (MERZOUGA) to ride camels while enjoying the sunset in the desert. Unforgettable night in the middle of the desert. Overnight in Haima Berber
Day 5: Sahara Desert -Rissani-La Draa Valley- Ouarzazate
Wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise and climb the dunes, then ride the camels back to the lodge where you will have breakfast and continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani where we will stop a little to visit its traditional Souk which is considered the largest in all of Southern Morocco and continue to the beautiful Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees. In the evening arrival in Ouarzazate.overnight in hotel.
Day 6: Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou- High Atlas- Marrakech
After breakfast departure to Ait Ben Haddou to see a kasbah where many movies have been filmed such as “The Arabian Trail” and “Babel”. At the end of the day arrival in Marrakech
Day 7 : Transfer to the airport
After breakfast, at a convenient time we will accompany you to the airport where after the farewell we will finish our 7 days tour from marrakech to the desert of merzouga.
