After breakfast we will explore the desert region and the incredible desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will do a circuit of the desert dunes, where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad’s way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We are going to visit the “black town” of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians.
We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch at the Berber family camp. After this you will have the opportunity to visit the black volcanic rock sites. Continuing, we will arrive at the panorama of the dunes and visit the lake. We will visit Merzouga lake only if there is water in it and you will be impressed by the landscape of the dunes as well as the nearby lake (spring). Then we will return to Merzouga.
HOW DO WE FIND OURSELVES IN MERZOUGA?
Information – If you have your own car we will meet you at our Hostel in the Center of Merzouga, where you will have your room to leave your luggage that you are not going to take to the desert and to shower when you return – if you come by bus or other transport we will be waiting for you at the station in the center of Merzouga and we accompany you to our Hostel
Bus time information: From Fez: There is daily overnight, it leaves Fez around 20:00 at night and arrives at Merzouga around 5:00 in the morning. the bus called (Supratours)
From Marrakech: There is a daily bus that leaves Marrakech at 08:00 in the morning and arrives in Merzouga at 20:00 at night, the bus called (Supratours)
